Easily, Tahiti’s best kiting set-up, including stunning location, steady blow and a friendly, knowledgeable/safe English/French speaking guide suited to all levels. You’ll be picked up at the beach on the picturesque, uncrowded south coast by JP in his boat. Bring your own gear or rent among several kite/board sizes. A short boat ride later you’ll be in a secluded bay, where you’ll do a safe water launch. What follows is hours of cruising back and forth across the bay and in the warm, emerald water of the lagoon. Although I’m an intermediate rider, I appreciated JPs supervision (and help with board retrieval!) in this new location. You’ll enjoy the backdrop of lush green rain forests up steep hills cliffs rising high from the beach. Tip: If you have friends/family waiting, get a day-pass, including pool at Hiti Moana Villas – they’ll love watching you ride/jump from poolside. Bring your GoPro for some unforgettable footage!
